Introducing the Hendrix Family
J.J. Hendrix was born in Adana, Turkey on September 16, 1982. His father was a Master Sargent in the Air Force. The family moved back to Arkansas where he spent the years of his youth. J.J. enjoyed sports and music being active on different sports teams and in the choirs of the various schools he attended. As he matured into a man, he realized that God needed to come first and life took a drastic, wonderfully different direction. J.J. enjoys sports, arts, technology, and teaching.
Lisa Stapleton Hendrix was born in Portsmouth, Ohio to Robert and Marcia Stapleton. Her youth was an exciting one with years spent in Ohio, Indiana, Texas, and Tanzania, East Africa. She graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a degree in accounting. She is licensed as a CPA in the state of Texas, but she does not currently practice. Lisa is a home school teacher, book keeper for the Brown Trail School of Preaching & Brown Trail church of Christ, and is both a Proverbs 31 and Judges 4 woman. Lisa teaches Bible classes regularly, has conducted Ladies' Days, and has spoken in the ladies sessions of the Brown Trail School of Preaching Alumni Lectureship.
Adeline Hendrix was born July 27, 2010 in Arlington, TX. She is very smart, fun to be around, and makes friends easily. Addie enjoys reading Harry Potter books, loves to sing, and likes playing with her siblings. She really enjoys all aspects of the Lads2Leaders program. She is a tremendous young lady who is going to be force for God as she continues to grow in Him.
Lily Hendrix was born January 12, 2013 in Arlington, TX. She is a sweet girl who looks up to her big sister. She loves to read, play with her siblings, shopping with her Bibi, and making art. She loves L2L and has done very well in speech, song leading, and scrapbook. She also enjoys a good night's sleep. I wish all the kids did.
Vincent Hendrix was born December 17, 2014 and is destined to have all of his gifts from extended family be "for your birthday AND Christmas." He is a sweet natured boy who is a good friend and has a great sense of humor. He enjoys playing video games and playing outside. He loves playing football for the Azle Hornets youth football team!
Elias Hendrix joined the family on May 22, 2017. He enjoys a good laugh and playing video games. Unfortunately Elias is severely allergic to peanuts and tree nuts, so we have to keep those things away from him. We are finding out that peanuts are in everything! Elias adores his sisters and brother.

Evelyn Hendrix surprised the family on February 21, 2019. She is a ball of energy and doesn't enjoy sleeping near as much as her sister Lily. She loves pretty things and to play with her siblings. She's the baby but she can hold her own with the big kids!
